BESPOKE BROCHURE & ECOMMERCE

When Papini initially approached us their existing website was a purely flash based catalogue that was having little to no success within search engine rankings. From the outset, it was obvious that our primary goal for this project would be to ensure available information was presented in a more accessible and search engine friendly format than the original site.

As well as a ubiquitous news article and newsletter facility, the re-development of the Papini site included a bespoke brochure solution. The brochure needed to be quite robust, able to manage a potentially unlimited range of colourways and in turn it be able to link each of these colourways to a range of limited sizes, as not all sizes were available for each colourway.

The brochure functionality was further developed to allow individual images to be uploaded for each product and colourway, providing potential customers with a visual representation of every colourway available for each product.

Administrative Access

Management of the entire site is carried out through a single easy-to-use administration area by designated Administrative users. The illustration to the right gives some insight into the kind of features available.

The system includes a semantic page naming system that allows management of meta information and actual page names. This provides an extra level of control that makes a big difference when developing a content managed site that needs to give optimum performance for search engineering.

Future developments..

Following the successful launch of the online brochure, the second stage for this project is to design and develop an Ecommerce solution that will integrate with the online brochure, enabling Papini to manage both new sales generated and existing client accounts.
